Davido Shuts Down Crystal Palace Bowl for His First-Ever London Festival
Davido just added another unforgettable night to his 15-year London story. The Afrobeats superstar headlined his first ever UK festival, “Davido and Friends,” at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14, 2026. AfrobeatsGlobal was watching every moment of this historic outing, and the energy did not disappoint.
Davido and Friends Brings the Heat to London
The show formed part of the Palace Bowl Presents summer festival series in South London. Davido curated the full-day lineup himself, and he brought along a stacked list of guests. Omah Lay, Black Sherif, Gabzy, Ecool, Morravey, and Boi Chase all joined him on stage.
Doors opened at 3pm, and the concert ran until around 10:30pm. According to Davido, this outdoor show marked his only London performance of the summer. He shared promotional artwork on his page days before, showing a sold-out banner and clear excitement for the night ahead.
This performance builds on a long history between Davido and the city. He became the first solo African artist to sell out London’s O2 Arena back in 2019. Since then, he has returned multiple times, including a second sold-out O2 run and now this milestone festival appearance.
15 Years of Davido in the Afrobeats Global Spotlight
