Asake Announces ‘In God We Trust Tour’
Mr. Money is back on the road. Asake has officially announced his 2026 world tour, and the internet is really anticipating it. The Nigerian superstar will be hitting stages across North America and Europe on the In God We Trust Tour, in support of his smash album M$NEY. AfrobeatsGlobal has every single detail you need right here.
What Is the In God We Trust Tour?
The In God We Trust Tour is Asake’s latest world tour following the release of M$NEY, his fourth studio album that dropped on 1 May 2026. The album became the first release under his own independent label, Giran Republic, in partnership with EMPIRE. That is a major business milestone on top of an already massive musical moment.
M$NEY broke records immediately upon release. It recorded 55.98 million opening-week Spotify streams, the highest ever for an African album. Furthermore, it set a new Spotify Nigeria opening-week record with 37.5 million streams. The album also hit number one on Apple Music across 19 countries in its first week. A world tour was always going to follow numbers like that.
The tour announcement also came alongside the release of the official music video for Gratitude, one of the standout records from M$NEY. In that video, Asake reflects on his journey with clear spiritual gratitude at its center. The visual and the tour name say the same thing. This is a man who knows exactly where he came from.
Uncle Waffles Is Joining as Special Guest
South African amapiano DJ and performer Uncle Waffles will join Asake on select North American dates as a special guest. This is a massive pairing. Uncle Waffles has become one of the leading faces of amapiano’s global expansion, and her high-energy performances bring a different dimension to any show she appears on.
Together, Asake and Uncle Waffles represent two of Africa’s most exciting live acts from two different but deeply connected sounds. Afrobeats and amapiano sharing the same stage consistently sends a message to the world about how broad and powerful African music has become. AfrobeatsGlobal loves to see it.
Asake spoke about the tour in a statement, saying the shows will bring the themes of M$NEY to life. He described the experience as a reflection of everything the album represents, from gratitude to growth. He also expressed excitement about taking the experience across the globe. That quote alone tells you the energy he is walking into these arenas with.

Why This Tour Is a Big Deal for Afrobeats
Asake is not new to selling out major venues. His Lungu Boy World Tour in 2024 included a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in New York. However, the In God We Trust Tour takes things up another level with a lineup of venues that includes Barclays Center, The O2, and Accor Arena.
These are not small rooms. Barclays Center holds over 17,000 people. The O2 in London is one of the most iconic live music venues in the world. Accor Arena in Paris seats over 20,000. For an Afrobeats artist to be filling these rooms on a consistent basis is something the genre was only beginning to dream about a few years ago.
Moreover, the album behind this tour is the work of an artist in full creative and commercial control. Giran Republic as an independent label means Asake owns more of his future. The 13-track M$NEY album featured collaborations with Tiakola, DJ Snake, and Kabza De Small, showing just how global his creative vision has become.
Tickets go on general sale on 29 May 2026 at 10 AM local time via Ticketmaster. The artist presale launched on 27 May 2026. If you are in any of these cities, you already know what to do.
