Zlatan Apologizes to Seyi Vibez After Clash

Zlatan and Seyi Vibez’s beef was Real, but it did not Last.

Zlatan and Seyi Vibez had the Nigerian music internet talking this week. A public clash between the two artists erupted on X. AfrobeatsGlobal breaks down exactly what happened and how it ended.

The tension started on May 26 when Seyi Vibez accused Zlatan of mocking his Fuji Moto project through ad-libs on Adekunle Gold‘s song “Life of the Faaji.” That accusation hit the timeline fast.

Furthermore, Seyi Vibez did not hold back. He fired back across multiple posts, calling Zlatan a backup artist and taking aim at his clothing brand. The exchange escalated quickly before a large online audience.

It actually hurts that my brother thinks I would diss him in anyway. It’s literally a misunderstanding. @seyi_vibez it’s all love bro, when you’re ready to talk it out I’m here!! 4L ABURO MI.”

However, Zlatan chose maturity over noise. He took to his social media to address the situation directly. His statement made it clear that he would never intentionally disrespect a colleague.

He described the whole situation as a misunderstanding and extended an olive branch publicly. The post went viral fast, gathering over 70,000 likes and millions of views across X.

In addition, Zlatan called Seyi Vibez his brother and made it clear he was open to talking things through. That kind of public de-escalation earns respect from fans across the board.

Seyi Vibez Accepted But Had His Own Statement to Make

”Iya LOSEYI know how many pikin she born. But Apology accepted Egbon Adugbo. Pls next time don’t do back up artiste to diss me on a song Thank You Zlatan,” he wrote on his X handle.

Seyi Vibez responded and accepted the apology. However, his reply carried its own message. He clarified that he did not agree with being called a younger brother, saying his mother knows who her children are.

On the other hand, he addressed Zlatan respectfully as “Egbon Adugbo,” meaning “area brother.” He also asked Zlatan not to use backup artist lines to diss him in the future. The acceptance had conditions.

Notably, fan reactions were split. Many praised Zlatan for handling the situation with maturity. Others felt Seyi Vibez’s response stirred things up again even while accepting the apology.

As a result, the beef appears resolved. However many fans feel there is still an underlying beef between both parties. AfrobeatsGlobal sees this as a reminder that social media can escalate misunderstandings fast and that how artists respond under pressure defines their character publicly.
