Davido Pledges To Sponsor Straight A’s Student Through Tertiary Education

Nigerian award-winning singer and performer, David Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, has offered to sponsor a brilliant Ghanaian student’s tertiary education.

 

The DMW boss had earlier reacted to a viral post of a student who scored straight-As in his WAEC examination but had been at home as a result of a lack of funding for his education.

 

The singer took to his social media page to request the identity of the student and how he could locate him to offer some form of financial aid.

The “Fall” hit maker took to his Twitter page to announce the good news, in his tweet, he wrote ” we have contacted Suleyman who lives in Ghana and he has been given a full scholarship for four to five years in Adeleke University, accomodation and allowance included. God bless y’all.

The singer eventually found and contacted the student and made another tweet, pledging to offer him a four or five-year scholarship to study at Adeleke University; allowance and accommodation inclusive.

Davido has always been involved in goodwill and lending a helping hand to those in need as he also recently donated a total of two hundred and fifty million Naira to orphanages across Nigeria on his birthday.
