Tyla declares Wizkid’s Equals Michael Jackson, Drake, And More In The Music Industry

South African sensation Tyla Laura Seethal, popularly known as Tyla, has drawn parallels between Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Wizkid and global musical icons like Drake, Rihanna, and the legendary Michael Jackson.

During a recent interview on The Bianca Show, the rising star expressed her belief that Wizkid deserves a spot among the best musicians of all time.

In her list of musical greats, which included Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Drake, and Rihanna, Tyla highlighted Wizkid’s influential role and lasting impact on the African music scene.

“My top five musical artists of all-time, obviously, Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Drake… It is always difficult to find the last one. There’s so many but I will say Wizkid. He has been around so long and has done so much for the culture and the genre[African music], so I definitely put him there.”
