Singer Wizkid “Essence” Featuring Tems & Justin Bieber Loses Out On Billboard Award 2022 (SEE DETAILS)

Wizkid’s global hit song, ‘Essence’ which featured Nigerian superstar, Tems and American Popstar Justin Bieber for the remix, was nominated for the R&B song of the Year in the just concluded Billboard Music Awards alongside.

The category which features other artists like, Giveon, Doja Cat, Justin Bieber and Silk Sonic was a highly competitive category

Wizkid is the first Nigerian artist to have his own song nominated for the prestigious award although he had been nominated earlier for his work on a project with Drake. The award was won by Grammy award-winning group, Silk Sonic who had one of the biggest hit songs in 2021 ‘Leave The Door Open’
