Reactions Trail Moment Teni Receives MON Award, Video Trends
Nigerian singer and songwriter Teniola Apata known professionally as Teni was at the Abuja International Conference Center on Tuesday, October 11, where she and other celebrities in the country received a national honor from the President, His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari.
Video footage of the event showed the moment Teni, was called to receive her award as she was conferred with the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) award.
In the video which has now gone viral on social media, the singer walked over to receive her award and casually strolled back to her seat.

However, netizens noticed the singer did not shake the president’s hand after receiving the award. While some questioned her actions, others did not make a fuss about it, stating that the whole attention given to the video was unnecessary
