Wizkid Sets A New Record As The First African Artiste To Surpass 1 Billion Streams On Apple Music.

It seems that Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, breaks or sets a new record every month. The multi-award winning singer has just set a new record and fans are not surprised.

Wizkid has just become the first African Artiste to surpass 1 billion streams on Apple Music as a lead artiste. This new milestone comes a week after his album, “Made In Lagos“, garnered over 500 million streams on the same music streaming platform.

He has not only achieved this feat in Apple Music. Wizkid is also the first and only African Artiste to surpass 1 billion streams on another global music streaming platform – Spotify.

Wizkid’s lists of achievements have proven that his name is a force to be reckoned with, not only in the African Music Industry, but globally as well.
