- Wizkid’s fourth studio album, “Made In Lagos”, is the longest charting African Album on the Billboard chart.
- Together, these records make Wizkid the longest charting African Artiste on Billboard.
The success of “Essence” has been immense, as it has enjoyed impressive level of success in the United States by reaching the Billboard Top 10 and also earning a platinum plaque.
This announcement proves that Wizkid is a top achiever in the global music industry. Fans of Wizkid, Wizkid FC, have taken to social media to shower praises on him. Comparing him to other African Artistes, they declared Wizkid the greatest artiste in Africa, even if Grammy didn’t recognise him.
Hopefully, with his highly anticipated upcoming album, “More Love, Less Ego”, Wizkid would finally clinch a Grammy Award.
