Nigerian singer, Tems Bags Another Platinum Record In The US After “Essence”

Nigerian talented singer, songwriter and performer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has bagged another platinum record for her feature on Future’s hit song “Wait For U”

 

 

The “Try me” singer, who scored her first RIAA platinum record as a guest artist on Wizkid’s “Essence” – which is now double platinum in the US, has followed up with another major milestone.

 

 

 

The singer features alongside Canadian rapper Drake on Future‘s song ‘Wait For U‘ and has bagged another platinum record certification as the song has now sold over one million units (1,000,000) in the United States of America.

 

 

 

American rapper, Future, took to his Twitter page to share the good news. He wrote:

“Wait For U’ platinum already. The support is appreciated #INeverLikedYou.”

 

 

 

The song ‘Wait For U’ is credited as the fastest collaboration in 2022 to become a platinum record.
