Money Mike SA, born Ibrahim Abdul Fakhouri, has landed a major partnership with Luc Belaire Rare Rosé, a premium French sparkling rosé, months after receiving a public co-sign from American rap star Rick Ross.

From a Co-Sign to a Contract

In February 2026, Rick Ross, a global ambassador for Luc Belaire, posted a picture of Money Mike SA on social media, putting the South African rapper in front of one of hip-hop’s most influential audiences. Months later, that moment has translated into an official partnership with the brand itself.

The Luc Belaire deal adds to a growing commercial portfolio for Money Mike SA, which already includes a partnership with international fashion brand True Religion.

Building Beyond Music

Money Mike SA has worked with several of South Africa’s leading hip-hop names, including Emtee, Blxckie, and Chad Da Don. His catalog includes tracks like “BELIEVE” featuring Emtee and Saudi and his 2026 project, The Caine Effect: Budra.

He is also the founder of Yalla Habibi Cartel, a venture that has helped establish him as a businessman alongside his music career, positioning him as a multidimensional African creative with commercial appeal across several industries.

Recent releases including “ON GAWD,” “MA SHIFTO SHI,” “AKBAR MAFIA,” and “MADE OFF THE STREETS” show an artist unwilling to slow down creatively even as the business side of his career accelerates. “ON GAWD” was notably recorded in Beirut, Lebanon, blending his South African roots with Arabian influences for a genuinely global sound.
