“Made In Lagos” Certified Gold In The US

“Made In Lagos” has officially been certified Gold in the United States after selling over 500,000 units.

The album is Wizkid’s third studio album which houses smashing hit songs like “Essence” featuring Tems, “Ginger” featuring Burna Boy. It was released on the 29th of October 2020 and has been certified gold by the RIAA.

Wizkid has conquered a major milestone with this album as he becomes the first African artist to have an album certified Gold in the United States.

Although African songs have been RIAA certified, this is the first time an African album has reached this major milestone.
