“I’m Quite Tired” – Femi Kuti Reacts To Grammy-Related Post After Recent Loss

Femi Anikulapo Kuti, the legendary Afrobeat singer, songwriter, performer, and instrumentalist, has responded to a post following his recent loss at the 64th Grammy Awards.

The 59-year-old artist, who is also the son of Nigerian afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti, was nominated for two Grammy Awards in 2022. In the Best Global Music Performance category, his song “Pà Pá Pà” was nominated, but he lost to Pakistani artist Arooj Aftab.

In the Best Global Music Album category, the ace singer’s double album with his son Made Kuti, named “Legacy,” was also nominated, but they lost to Beninese renowned singer Angélique Kidjo, who won with her “Mother Nature” album.
