Family Releases Sound Sultan’s Album One Year After Death ( SEE DETAILS)
Legendary musician from Nigeria known as Sound Sultan, Olanrewaju Fasasi, passed away one year ago on Monday.
His family plans to release the final album the singer was working on before his passing as a way to mark the occasion.
On Sunday night, listening parties for the album Reality CHQ were organized in three different cities.
The album was described as a special endeavor in a video posted on Sultan’s page by his brother, Baba Dee, who spoke from the listening party in New York.
In his words, “We are hosting the official listening party for the album, Reality CHQ, and we are having the one-year remembrance of Sound Sultan, the famous renowned Nigerian vocalist.
Before heeding the call of the Almighty, Sound Sultan was working on this album. This project is incredibly unique.
The occasion took place in New York, London, and Lagos’ Victoria Island neighborhood.
