After weeks of waiting, Davido has finally blessed his fans with the full video of his chart topping song, “Stand Strong“, in which he featured American gospel choir – The Samples. The samples is the group credited with Kanye West’s amazing Sunday service performances. The track, which was produced by talented Nigerian producer and songwriter, “Pheelz”, is his first single for the year and from his yet to be disclosed upcoming album.
Before releasing the audio of the song, Davido shared a tweet about how different Sound Strong was to him, and how he wanted his fans to “feel” rather than “dance”. Well, it worked. Since the release of the song, fans have been commenting on how different and inspiring the song was. #StandStrong dominated social media for some time, with many sharing their life experiences and how they were able to Stand Strong through bad times.
The song which debuted at No.1 on Apple Music, is currently enjoying massive airplay and topping many charts.
