M.I Shares Expected Collaborations On His Forthcoming Album

African rapper number one Jude Abaga, popularly know as M.I shares expected collaborations on his forthcoming album titled “The Guy”.

M.I Abaga is one of Africa’s most skilled and decorated wordsmiths. In recent year he shifted his focus from the booth to the office as the President of Chocolate City Record Label. Choc City is one of Nigeria’s most prominent music labels, boosting of artists like Blaqbonez, AQ and recently Young Jonn.

Self-titled “short black boy” came to prominence in 2006 with “Crowd Mentality”, which caught in due to its catchy hook and authentic point of view. The following year came with big success winning several awards and releasing chart topping records.

Fast-forward to 2018 when M.I released his last studio album titled “Rendezvous”. This particular shows M.I embrace the younger generations of alternative artists to create this body of work. Artists like ;  Santi, Toni Thomas, Odunsi, Nonso Amadi, Dtraffiti e.t.c.

Earlier this year M.I announced he’ll be releasing an album this year titled “The Guy”. The rapper released a single off the album titled “The Guy”. M.I disclosed in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu for Channels TV that his album would feature names like Nas, Wande Coal, Olamide, BNXN, Phyno, The Cavemen, Ice Prince, Jesse Jags, Duncan Mighty and more.
