Tiwa Savage To Receive Honorary Degree From University Of Kent.
Talented Nigerian artiste, Tiwa Savage, is about to add an honorary degree to her lists of accolades. Her alma mater, University of Kent, is set to honor her with an honorary Doctorate in music.
Tiwa Savage is one of ten individuals to be awarded honorary degrees, during the University of Kent’s congregation ceremonies at Canterbury and Rochester cathedrals. Her fellow compatriot, Professor Funke Abimbola, would also be honored with a Doctorate in Law. The ceremonies will hold from the 11th – 20th of July.

Tiwa Savage graduated from the University of Kent with a degree in Business Administration. She however transitioned to music, when she won a scholarship to study Professional Music at the Berklee College of Music, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.
On the 15th of July, as stated by the University, Tiwa Savage would be made Doctor of Music in recognition of her inspirational and international career in music.” The award would take place in Canterbury.
