Media personality, Dorcas Shola Fapson, also known as Ms DSF, debunks her recent remarks about Toke Makinwa‘s rumored marriage to longtime partner Farouk Umar.
Over the weekend, reports surfaced claiming Makinwa and Umar had secretly tied the knot after photos of the couple at an event labelled as a “Thanksgiving” ceremony went viral.
Ms DSF fueled the rumours with social media hints suggesting the pair had gotten married.
However, in a video shared on her social media page, she explained that her previous comment was meant as a joke.
“Bloggers please, I’m just joking. They are not getting married. Toke is just doing thanksgiving for her birthday,” she clarified.
Ms DSF also playfully criticized the media for jumping to conclusions, captioning her video, “I play too much and bloggers eat sh*t too fast.”
It is worth noting that Toke Makinwa who was previously married to businessman Maje Ayida from 2014 until their divorce in 2017, has not publicly addressed the rumors.
The viral event, now clarified as a birthday Thanksgiving, sparked widespread speculation online before Ms DSF’s clarification.
