MI Abaga reacts to Headies 2022 Nomination List

Ace Nigerian rapper, Jude Abaga, popularly known by his stage name as M.I Abaga or simply M.I, has reacted to the 2022 Headies Awards’ “Lyricist on the Roll” nomination list

 

The Headies Awards show, which celebrates quality music and musical excellence in the Nigerian music scene is scheduled to hold on Sunday 4th September 2022 at the COBB Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, USA.

 

The Lyricict on the Roll, which is a non-voting category for the rap artist with the best lyrical depth and performance on a single song or album, had names like AQ, Blaqbonez, Jesse Jagz, Ladipoe, Payper Corleone, and Vector on this year’s nomination list

 

Despite being on the “last cypher,” which earned AQ and Blaqbonez nominations, as well as “Crown of Clay,” which earned Vector a nomination, M.I. Abaga was not nominated in the category.

 

M.I took to Twitter to show support for the lyricist on the roll nominees, despite the fact that he was not nominated.

He wrote: “Fire list!!!!”
