Dbanj Thrills His Fans On His 20 Years On Stage Celebration At New Afrika Shrine
Nigerian music star Oladapo Oyebanjo, widely known as D’banj, celebrated his 20th anniversary as a musician.The show was lit up with stars and fans gathering to celebrate D’banj’s remarkable career.
The singer proved he’s still ‘The Entertainer,’ captivating the crowd with his electrifying performance.
D’banj, also known as the Kokomaster or Bangalee, began his music career at a very young age but came to the limelight in 2005 when he released his debut album “No Long Thing”.
The album featured the breakthrough lead single “Tongolo”. Since then, D’banj has become a prominent Nigerian singer, rapper, and television personality. He is best known for his hit song “Oliver Twist”, which topped the African charts in 2011.
The singer who couldn’t hide his joy at the massive turn uos of his fans gave them a very good performance they will always remember. ‘Mobolowowon’, ‘Why me’, ‘Tongolo’, ‘Mr Endowed’ and ‘Oliver Twist’ were among several of his hits he performed for the enthralling crowd.
The event also witnessed brilliant performances from Peruzzi and Made Kuti, with the latter having a joint performance with D’banj. The stage was also a platform for some up-and-coming artistes to showcase their talents as D’banj brought up some fans to the stage to perform their acts.
