Black Sherif Releases Sun Sherif EP
Ghanaian star Black Sherif has released his new project, “Sun Sherif,” a six-track EP with a runtime of about fifteen minutes.
The EP features AratheJay and Trinidadian duo Full Blown, and it’s now streaming across Apple Music and Audiomack. Furthermore, the project was released under Blacko Management and EMPIRE.
The EP includes “Expresso,” “Run Around,” “Forever” featuring AratheJay, “Jolie,” “Frontline,” and “Love Again” featuring Full Blown. Joker Nharnah produced most of the project, while Phillip Nyanor and Westen also contributed to production.
In addition, the tracklist stays short and focused, with Black Sherif carrying four of the six songs solo. One of the biggest talking points is AratheJay’s feature on “Forever,” marking his first appearance on a Black Sherif project since 2022’s The Villain I Never Was.
Interestingly, this flips an earlier collaboration, since Black Sherif previously appeared on AratheJay’s “Jesus Christ 2.” Therefore, “Forever” brings their musical relationship full circle.
Where ‘Sun Sherif’ Fits In Black Sherif’s Career
“Sun Sherif” follows a run that includes the 2021 Sermon series, his 2022 debut album The Villain I Never Was, and 2025’s IRON BOY, which won Album of the Year at the 2026 Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
