Ayra Starr and ZAYN Drop Heaven Baby Music Video

Seven weeks of waiting just paid off. The Ayra Starr Heaven Baby video is finally here, and ZAYN is right beside her. It dropped on October 5.

The duet sits on Starrgirl, Ayra’s third studio album, which arrived on August 14. Naturally, fans have been asking for a proper video ever since.

Inside the Ayra Starr Heaven Baby Video

The video places Ayra and ZAYN in their own spaces first. Later, the two share the same frame, which fits a song about instant chemistry. Early viewers are praising the visuals and the vocal back and forth.

Earlier behind-the-scenes clips showed the pair laughing, dancing, and posing on set. As a result, anticipation kept building for weeks. Before the full video, fans also got a lyric video and a visualizer.

UK fans know ZAYN from One Direction and his solo hit Pillowtalk. Therefore, his voice on an Afrobeats duet feels like a proper crossover moment.

Heaven Baby is the 14th track on Starrgirl. The song explores falling in love fast, and both singers promise devotion in their verses. Therefore, the duet works like a real conversation between two people.

Why the Ayra Starr Heaven Baby Duet Is Winning in the UK

Even without a video, the song found its audience. On the Official British Asian Music Chart, it has stayed at No. 1 every week since release. That makes sense, because ZAYN is British Pakistani.

On the Official Afrobeats Chart, the song held No. 2 for four weeks. Then it slipped to No. 6. However, it is now back up at No. 3.

For AfrobeatsGlobal readers in the UK, this is a proud moment. Two diaspora charts carried one Nigerian star all summer, and the new video could push the song even higher.
