King Promise and Chelsea Release Can't Tame Us Anthem

A Ghanaian Afrobeats star just joined forces with a Premier League giant. Yes, the King Promise Chelsea link-up is real, and the anthem is already streaming.

King Promise and Chelsea Football Club released Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem). It celebrates Chelsea fans across Africa. As a lifelong supporter, the singer clearly made this one personal.

How King Promise And Chelsea Anthem Came Together

The track forms part of Chelsea’s London to the World approach to culture. That idea celebrates the communities inside the club’s global family. For example, Chelsea has also backed community football courts in Brazil.

Chelsea brand director Scott Fenton said King Promise brought the idea to the club himself. Because of his love for the Blues, the club saw a natural fit.

The King Promise Chelsea anthem first debuted at a Chelsea matchday. Furthermore, it will keep playing at fixtures throughout the season.

King Promise said football and music have always brought people together. He wanted the track to capture the pride, energy, and passion of Chelsea fans across Africa. In other words, the project puts supporters at the center of the story.

The video premiered on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. It was shot at two spots in Accra, and Derrick Arthur directed it.

First, the crew filmed at the Rent Paid Football Exhibition Tournament. There, King Promise hosted supporter clubs from across Ghana. Second, they visited Nungua SDA Park, where he grew up playing football.

Rent paid is the singer’s own initiative. It encourages people to pay rent to their bodies through exercise, community, and culture. In addition, each event supports the Nungua Orphanage in his hometown, helping children aged 16 and under.

Overall, the King Promise Chelsea crossover is a big win for Ghana and for UK fans of AfrobeatsGlobal. Football and Afrobeats have always shared the same energy.
