Loatinover Pounds has good news for fans waiting on new music. The Pretoria rapper and producer confirmed that his next album is finished, and AfrobeatsGlobal has the details on what comes after his breakout debut.
G2G Follows His Double Platinum Debut
Pounds revealed that the upcoming project is titled G2G, though its full meaning has not been confirmed. He has been building engagement by asking fans to guess what the letters stand for, with “Glory 2 God” among the top suggestions.
The announcement follows years spent developing his sound through hip hop, melodic elements, and strong references to his Pretoria roots. His debut album, Pray 4 Pitori, arrived in September 2024 with 14 tracks.
Looking Back At Pray 4 Pitori

That debut featured collaborations with Blackie, The Big Hash, and LaCabra, among others. Standout songs included Church On Sundayz, Mamazala, and Pray 4 Me, tracks that helped cement his place in Pretoria’s hip hop scene.
Before that project, Pounds released Hood Misunderstood in 2022, continuing to build his catalogue and presence within South Africa’s growing rap landscape.
What Fans Still Do Not Know

Several details remain undisclosed. The full meaning of the title, release date, tracklist, and features have yet to be revealed. For now, G2G marks the confirmed next chapter following Pray 4 Pitori.
