Kid X CashTime Story: K.O. Asked If He Raps in Vernac
Kid X just shared how one question changed his career. The Kid X CashTime story starts with K.O. asking if he raps in vernac. Furthermore, he only learned he was signed on live radio.
He told the Under The Influence podcast from Sotra Cyphers how it all went down. Meanwhile, Zingah, a friend of his, was already on K.O’s radar. After about a year, Zingah introduced them.
The Kid X CashTime Meeting That Started With Vernac
The two met at the start of 2011 at a show K.O. used to host. K.O told him he had heard good things about his music. Then came the big question about rapping in vernacular.

However, Kid X had only rapped in English back then. He answered, “I don’t, but I could.” As a result, K.O gave him one week to prepare something.
A week later, K.O took him and Zingah to a Metro FM interview. Before going in, K.O asked to hear the verse in his car. Furthermore, the moment turned into a cypher.
Nobody said anything about a deal afterwards. Then, during K.O.’s interview with Tbo Touch, Kid X found out he was signed to CashTime. He learned it at the same time as listeners across the country.
What Kid X CashTime Fans Should Know Next
Kid X later celebrated becoming a qualified sound engineer. In addition, he has reconnected with fans through a single titled Iroof. Both moves show his story did not stop at the signing.
Meanwhile, K.O has confirmed a new single called Shumi featuring Blue Pappi. So the CashTime story is still moving.
