Ayra Starr’s Starrgirl Album Confirms Wizkid and Rema

Ayra Starr is counting down to the biggest release of her career so far. The Ayra Starr Starrgirl album is confirmed for August 14, and two major names are already locked in. AfrobeatsGlobal breaks down everything confirmed about the tracklist, the features, and the rollout so far.

The Confirmed Features So Far

The 16-track project will be led by five singles, including two major collaborations.

‘Gimme Dat,’ her Grammy-nominated pairing with Wizkid, arrived back in April 2025.

‘Who’s Dat Girl,’ her first official collaboration with Rema, followed in October 2025.

‘Where Do We Go’ came out in March 2026, continuing the lead-up to the full project.

Most recently, ‘Tornado’ dropped on June 12, featuring Latin percussion touches from producers Skillies, Shizzi, and RiotUSA. Beyond these four songs, Mavin Records has not released a complete official tracklist as of publication.

The Countdown Amid Her Recovery

Ayra Starr kicked off an 11-day countdown on social media, captioning it ‘Starrgirl is comingggg.’ The announcement comes as she continues recovering from major surgery revealed just days earlier. Even while resting, she has encouraged her fanbase, affectionately called Mobstarrs, to keep building momentum online.

Her promotional teaser shows her walking city streets as glowing stars spell out the album title overhead. Starr Girl follows her acclaimed projects ’19 & Dangerous’ and ‘The Year I Turned 21.’ With the release date locked in, anticipation continues building across the Afrobeats world.
