Asake continues to ride high on the wave of success, claiming the top spot as the most streamed artist of the year in Boomplay’s recently released 2023 Recap List.
His album, “Mr. Money With the Vibe,” secured an impressive second place for the Most Streamed Album, following Davido’s “Timeless.”
The breakthrough artist of 2022, known for the hit single “Omo Ope,” maintained his upward trajectory in 2023 with the release of his highly acclaimed sophomore album, “Work of Art.”
Featuring chart-topping singles like “2:30” and “Amapiano,” the latter even earned a nomination for Best African Performance at the 2024 Grammys. Another standout track, “Lonely At The Top,” further contributed to Asake’s chart-topping success.

Omah Lay’s “Soso” emerged as the most streamed song in Nigeria, with Adekunle Gold’s “Party No Dey Stop” also making a noteworthy appearance on the list.
