The In God We Trust Tour is Asake’s latest world tour following the release of M$NEY, his fourth studio album that dropped on 1 May 2026. The album became the first release under his own independent label, Giran Republic, in partnership with EMPIRE. That is a major business milestone on top of an already massive musical moment.

M$NEY broke records immediately upon release. It recorded 55.98 million opening-week Spotify streams, the highest ever for an African album. Furthermore, it set a new Spotify Nigeria opening-week record with 37.5 million streams. The album also hit number one on Apple Music across 19 countries in its first week. A world tour was always going to follow numbers like that.

The tour announcement also came alongside the release of the official music video for Gratitude, one of the standout records from M$NEY. North American dates marked with Uncle Waffles as a special guest include Toronto, Laval, Brooklyn, Lowell, Columbia, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, and Los Angeles. The European shows in London and Paris round out the run in style.

Why This Tour Is a Big Deal for Afrobeats

Asake is not new to selling out major venues. His Lungu Boy World Tour in 2024 included a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden in New York. However, the In God We Trust Tour takes things up another level with a lineup of venues that includes Barclays Center, The O2, and Accor Arena.

These are not small rooms. Barclays Center holds over 17,000 people. The O2 in London is one of the most iconic live music venues in the world. Accor Arena in Paris seats over 20,000. For an Afrobeats artist to be filling these rooms on a consistent basis is something the genre was only beginning to dream about a few years ago.
