AFRIMA 2023 AWARDS: Burna Boy, Wizkid And Davido Bag Most Awards
The All Africa Music Awards 2023 has finally come to a wrap!
The 8th annual award ceremony which celebrates African excellence in the music industry was supposed to hold last year in December but was re-scheduled to hold from January 12-15 in Dakar, Senegal.

As usual, Nigerian artists dominated the award nominee categories and bagged major awards at the award ceremony.
Davido won the Best Inspirational Song for ‘Stand Strong’ and Best African Pop for ‘High‘ for his collaboration with Adekunle Gold.
Wizkid took home the Best West African Act award.
Asake who dominated 2022 with his back-to-back run of hit songs and an impressive and commercially successful debut album, took home the “Breakout Artist of the Year” award.
The self-acclaimed African Giant Burna Boy took home the award for “Best Album” and “Best African Act”.
