Actress, Aunty Ramota Debunk Reports That She Was In A Coma As A Result Of Botched BBL Surgery

Popular Nigerian actress Ramota Adetu, widely known as Aunty Ramota, has addressed rumors claiming she fell into a coma following an unsuccessful Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery.

In a video shared online on Wednesday, Aunty Ramota is seen eating and displaying her body, asserting that she is in good health. Speaking in Yoruba, she reassured her fans, saying, “My lovers, thank you, nothing happened to me. This is my body.”

The rumors began circulating days earlier, suggesting that the actress had been rushed into a recovery room at a hospital in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State. A viral video showed a female patient, purported to be Ramota, being carried by medical staff. The patient appeared unconscious and was seen breathing through an oxygen mask.

In the video, background voices speculated about Ramota undergoing a botched BBL surgery. One voice exclaimed, “What is Ramota doing here? What has she come to do here? Why is she here? Do not call me into this kind of situation. Do not call my name. I am not here.” Another voice confirmed, “She came to do BBL. Yes. She is just here since after the operation they performed on her.”

Aunty Ramota’s public rebuttal aims to dispel the alarming rumors, assuring her followers that she is healthy and well.
