The reason is simple. He had a show booked and already paid for. About 8,000 fans were waiting.

Mr. Eazi Jay Z: The Dinner He Missed

Mr. Eazi said he was invited to a small dinner tied to Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift project. Jay Z was expected to attend. However, the date clashed with his concert.

He chose to honor the show rather than cancel. Furthermore, he said that if it was meant to be, it would happen. His team still attended the dinner.

Interestingly, he already worked on that project. The Lion King: The Gift came out on July 19, 2019. Mr. Eazi appears on Don’t Jealous Me with Tekno and Yemi Alade and on Keys to the Kingdom with Tiwa Savage.

Jay Z himself features on Mood 4 Eva on the same album. As a result, the two have shared a tracklist without ever meeting. AfrobeatsGlobal loves that twist.

Beyond Mr Eazi Jay Z: Business and Marriage

Mr Eazi also spoke about his business reach. He said he is involved, directly or indirectly, in about 24 African countries. His Locker Room Bonus program pays athletes bonuses into mobile money wallets after the team wins.

He also spoke about his marriage to Temi Otedola. According to him, a partner becomes a mirror. Consequently, he says he has become more self-aware.
