Cassper Nyovest Confirms New Music With Ne-Yo Collab

Big collab alert from Mzansi. Cassper Nyovest Ne-Yo is now officially a thing. The rapper posted a photo with the American R&B star and wrote wait on it.

Cassper Nyovest Ne-Yo Collab: What He Confirmed

Fans quickly asked if they had recorded music together. Then Cassper replied in the comments and confirmed they are working. He wrote that he couldn’t believe he got to work with such a genius.

However, he has not shared a title or release date. Furthermore, he has not said which project it could land on. Therefore, fans are still waiting for details.

One fan asked about the song he teased before. Meanwhile, Cassper answered with maybe. That reply keeps the door open for an earlier recording.

The 2021 Story Behind Cassper Nyovest Ne-Yo

The link first surfaced in July 2021. During an Instagram Live with producer Abidoza, he previewed an Amapiano record. Notably, it carried vocals from Ne-Yo.

It came while he worked on Sweet And Short 2.0, released in July 2021. However, the track never made the official tracklist. As a result, its status stayed unclear.

Now, it is unclear if this is the same record or a new song. Still, mixing Mzansi’s amapiano energy with American R&B sounds exciting. Indeed, this is the kind of cross-continent collab that travels.
