Donald Urges Fans to Stream His Music and Back His Label
Here is a message every music fan should hear. The Donald streaming plea is simple: every listen puts money in his pocket.
After a strong three weeks for his catalogue, Donald thanked fans on social media. Then he got blunt about the money. In his words, “The more you listen, the more money I can make.”
Why the Donald Streaming Plea Matters
The past 3 weeks have been good for my catalogue, you guys have been listening to Donald’s music in big numbers. IM GRATEFUL 🙏🏾
I wanna be very clear, the more you listen to any of my songs, the more money I can make to pay for my bills and feed my family. It’s really that simple.
So please stream a Donald song today ❤️

Donald posted on September 29 and followed up on September 30. He explained that many fans do not know who gets paid when they press play. Usually, the label benefits. However, in his case, he is the label.
His path to ownership started early. He began professionally in 2008 with DJ Cleo’s Will of Steel Productions. Then he launched his own label in 2011. Today, many releases carry the DExclusive Sounds name.
Several projects were also distributed through Universal Music South Africa. In other words, his catalogue has lived in both worlds.
Many fans replied that they understood the Donald streaming plea. In fact, some said they were streaming on purpose to put money back in his pocket. Donald thanked them and said most people do not understand how the business works. That simple breakdown matters for the whole South African music scene.
Where to Start After the Donald Streaming Plea
Fans can start with his best-known songs. These include I Deserve, Over The Moon, Rain Drops, and Landela. In addition, Ngiyazfela features Mlindo The Vocalist.
His newer music is just as strong. Train Of Love 2 arrived in 2025, followed by Take Your Time with Mawelele and Makhosi. Then in February 2026, he released the EP Close The Door On Your Way Out. It includes Amanga with Amanda Black.
