Ye and Kai Cenat Link Up at ComplexCon With $1.8M Watch
Ye walked up to a booth, and the internet immediately lost it. Yes, Ye and Kai Cenat finally shared a friendly moment at ComplexCon on October 4. The meetup happened at the VIVET booth in Los Angeles, and fans cannot stop replaying the clip.
Videos show the two smiling and chatting about Cenat’s clothing brand. In addition, the brand made its runway debut at New York Fashion Week just weeks ago. Naturally, that booth became the place to be all weekend.
Why Ye and Kai Cenat Linking Up Is Such a Big Deal
However, this was not a random meetup. Back in 2024, Cenat showed fans some oversized Vultures merch from Ye, and the pants were far too big. As a result, Ye sent angry messages and accused the streamer of mocking his clothes.
Later that year, Ye also called Cenat an industry plant. Since then, things have slowly cooled down. For example, the two briefly connected at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Meanwhile, Ye also did a fit check with Playboi Carti and creator ChrisTooSmoove. When asked about his watch, Ye said it was worth about $1.8 million. That answer got a laugh from Carti.
Interestingly, that price is a huge jump from the $200,000 figure Ye gave in a 2021 fit check. Furthermore, Bianca Censori arrived with him, and a big crowd followed them across the floor.
Carti served as artistic director for ComplexCon 2026, which marked the festival’s 10th anniversary. The event ran on October 3 and 4, and Ye brought his daughter North West along too.
