Burna Boy announced the news on August 3 via Instagram, teasing ‘much more announcements’ still to come.

This will mark his third London Stadium headline show, following his historic 2023 debut and his 2024 return. Back in June 2023, he became the first African artist ever to headline a UK stadium with his ‘Love, Damini’ show.

That night featured surprise guests, including Stormzy, Dave, J Hus, and Popcaan, on a golden merry-go-round stage. He returned in 2024 for the ‘I Told Them… Tour,’ which reportedly grossed around $6.15 million in a single night.

Setting a New Benchmark for African Touring

Headlining the same major European stadium three times is rare, even among global pop superstars. For an African artist, it proves sustained commercial pull across multiple album eras rather than one lucky breakout moment.

The announcement also arrives as Burna Boy continues building his ‘No Sign of Weakness’ era momentum. His touring resume already includes being the first Nigerian act to headline Madison Square Garden. He also became the first African artist to sell out Citi Field in New York.

With ticket details still under wraps, fans across Africa and the diaspora are already counting down to 2027.
