Pop Star, Ayra Starr Pays Tribute To Late Father On New Album

Nigerian pop star Ayra Starr, known for hits like “Rush” and “Sability,” is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated sophomore album, “The Year I Turned 21.”

In a recent interview with Elle Magazine, Starr revealed a deeply personal touch she’s included on the album – a tribute to her late father.

The final song on the album, titled “The Kids Are All Right,” features Ayra Starr’s niece singing about their shared loss.Starr spoke openly about finally coming to terms with her father’s passing, describing the song as a way to process her grief.

“The Year I Turned 21” drops this Friday and boasts an impressive list of collaborators, including fellow Nigerian artists Asake and Seyi Vibez, alongside international stars Giveon, Anitta, and Coco Jones.
