“I never signed Whitemoney to EME Records” – Banky W.
In an interview with Hot FM Lagos, Banky W debunked recent rumors about his involvement with an ex-winner of Big Brother Naija, White Money. This follows weeks of backlash from Twitter users who berated his decision to sign the reality TV star.
According to Banky W, White Money was not signed to Empire Mates Entertainment. He reiterated that he had only helped him to get an ambassadorial deal with a corporate brand he consulted for.

He also explained that his record label, EME, transformed into a media and marketing agency in 2017.
During the interview, Banky W talked about his political career while defining his position in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
“I am not in the PDP to defend its previous wrongdoings but to reform it starting from my constituency,” he said.
