Burna Boy, Tems And Rema Perform At The 2023 NBA All Star Game

The halftime show of the 2023 NBA All-Star Game featured performances by Burna Boy, Rema, and Tems. The three Nigerian performers took turns performing on stage.

Burna Boy opened with a spirited rendition of some of his hits, including “It’s Plenty,” “Last Last,” and “Alone,” before Rema took the stage to perform “Calm Down” and “Holiday.”

Tems performed a medley of “Crazy Tings,” “Free Mind,” “Essence,” and “Higher”.

Tems recently won her first Grammy for “Best Melodic Rap Performance” for the hit single “Wait for U.”

She has also been nominated for the 2023 Academy Award for Best Original Song for her work on Rihanna’s “Lift Me Up,” which is featured on the soundtrack for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Rema and Burna Boy both released albums in 2022. The former, “Rave & Roses” while the latter, “Love, Damini. Both albums were critically acclaimed and commercially successful.
