This marks Burna Boy’s first Number 1 on Billboard’s flagship global songs chart, which measures activity across more than 200 territories. For Shakira, it stands as her second Global 200 chart topper, following TQG with Karol G back in 2023. Meanwhile, Dai Dai also holds a third straight week at number 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart.

Just days after the Billboard milestone, Burna Boy became the first African artist ever to perform at a FIFA World Cup final halftime show. He and Shakira delivered an electrifying rendition of Dai Dai in front of a packed stadium, sharing the stage with global names including Justin Bieber, BTS, Madonna, and Coldplay.
