Asake New Songs With Shenseea 'Playtime' and Skepta 'Aloe Vera'

Asake is everywhere this Friday, and fans are not complaining! He landed on two major projects on 6 November 2026. These Asake new songs link him with Jamaican star Shenseea and British grime icon Skepta.

Asake New Songs: Playtime With Shenseea

First, Shenseea released her eighth track debut EP, Catalyst. Notably, it arrived through Since ’93 and Columbia Records. The upbeat “Playtime” with Asake leads the project.

In addition, the EP carries a reunion record with dancehall king Vybz Kartel. Furthermore, American rapper Loe Shimmy also features.

On “Playtime,” Shenseea’s smooth dancehall delivery meets Asake’s energetic Afrobeats style. As a result, the record blends Kingston and Lagos sounds with Amapiano and Fuji touches. Meanwhile, the official video is already out for fans to watch.

Asake New Songs: Aloe Vera With Skepta

Next, Skepta returned after seven years with The Fork and Knife. The 15-track album dropped through Big Smoke and Epic Records. Indeed, it is his first solo studio album since Ignorance Is Bliss in 2019.

Asake appears on “Aloe Vera.” Interestingly, Skepta first debuted the song at Reading Festival 2026. Fans are now replaying it online.

The album explores what it means to be British and the son of Nigerian immigrants. Therefore, an Asake feature feels like a natural fit. In addition, Central Cee, Jorja Smith, and Aya Nakamura appear on the album.
