The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) is an award show in Africa that awards actors and entertainers in the entertainment industry. It is the African edition of the Oscars (sort of) and is in its 8th year

The 8th edition of the AMVCA took place yesterday, May 14, 2022 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos and as usual, was filled with glitz and glamour as celebrities graced the event in their best dresses in order to dazzle for the cameras. Osas Ighodaro and Denola Grey won the Best Dressed Award for the night

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Toke Makinwa, Uti Nwanchukwu and Sika Osei were the hosts on the red carpet for the night while Ik Osakioduwa returned for the eighth time to host the show alongside South Africa’s Bonang Matheba.
