African Artists Set For Roskilde Festival 2026
Organizers have confirmed the full list of African artists for Roskilde Festival 2026 performers. The festival runs from June 27 to July 4 and expects over 100,000 attendees. AfrobeatsGlobal counted artists spanning Afrobeats, amapiano, hip hop, and experimental fusion. This year’s program features 177 acts across sixteen stages total.
Nigerian singer Lojay anchors the Afrobeats side of the lineup. He rose to global attention through his 2022 hit “Monalisa” and continues building momentum. Meanwhile, South African DJ DBN Gogo represents the amapiano movement on the dance stages. Her latest EP blends amapiano with the emerging 3-step sound.
Egypt brings serious weight to this year’s bill too. Rapper Marwan Moussa returns following his 2025 album exploring grief and healing. Additionally, poet and vocalist Abdullah Miniawy performs with his trio, fusing Arabic poetry with jazz improvisation. Both acts highlight North Africa’s growing presence on European stages.
Spoken Word And Diaspora Voices Join The Bill
Kenyan spoken word artist Rixpoet brings work centered on identity and human rights. His set forms part of a collaboration with Roskilde Festival and the Danish Institute for Human Rights. Therefore, the lineup stretches well beyond traditional music performance this year.

Finnish Ghanaian musician Grande Mahogany also joins the bill with his psychedelic funk and soul fusion. His presence highlights how diaspora artists keep gaining ground at major global festivals. AfrobeatsGlobal sees this as part of a much bigger pattern across European festival programming.
This continues Roskilde’s multiyear commitment to African representation. As a result, fans across the continent now have another reason to watch Denmark closely this summer. Here are the events and their websites: Roskilde Festival 2026.
