Wizkid & Future’s “Everytime” Storms Back Onto the UK Afrobeats Chart

Nine years later and Wizkid still knows how to shake up a chart. Wizkid and Future’s 2017 collaboration “Everytime” has stormed onto the Official UK Afrobeats Songs Chart, debuting at number 17 for the tracking week of August 23 to 29, 2026. AfrobeatsGlobal caught the resurgence trending across fan pages this week.

A Throwback Track Finds New Life

“Everytime” originally arrived on September 19, 2017, produced by longtime Wizkid collaborator Shizzi. The song paired Wizkid’s smooth Afrobeats melodies with Future’s melodic, trap-tinged delivery, and it dropped during the rollout of Wizkid’s international breakthrough era.

Unlike most of Future’s harder-edged records, this one leans gentle and romantic. Wizkid takes the emotional lead while Future complements the mood instead of overpowering it. That chemistry is part of why the record has aged so well with fans.

Despite being an unofficial release, the record has generated fresh streaming activity strong enough to land it a UK Afrobeats chart position almost a decade after it first came out. It is a reminder of just how deep Wizkid’s international catalog runs.
