Ice Prince Arrested for Assault and Abduction

Popular Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince, has reportedly been arrested by the Lagos State Police command.

Early on Friday morning, the rapper allegedly abducted and assaulted a police officer, after he was flagged down for driving without license plates. When he was stopped by the police officer, he initially agreed to be taken to the station, but later changed his mind and abducted the officer.

Then, he assaulted him and even threatened to throw him in a river.

Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, shared a picture of the rapper in handcuffs. He also announced that the rapper would be arraigned today

At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today. pic.twitter.com/jLazuYOUal
