Adekunle Gold Releases ‘Fuji Orchestra’ Live Album From His London Performance

Adekunle Gold, known to fans as AG Baby, has turned one of his biggest live moments into a full-length project.

The singer has released Fuji Orchestra (Live From The Royal Festival Hall, London, 2025), a live album documenting his celebrated orchestral performance in the British capital. The project was recorded during the EFG London Jazz Festival in November 2025.

A Fresh Take on Familiar Songs

AG Baby Releases "Fuji Orchestra," Capturing His Landmark London Performance

The live album gives listeners a chance to experience Gold’s music through a more expansive setting than usual. It revisits songs from his Fuji era alongside selections from his wider catalog, giving familiar records a new identity through orchestral arrangement.

For the performance, Gold was backed by the Guildhall Session Orchestra and his live band, 79th Element. The combination created a meeting point between Nigerian popular music and full orchestral scale, rather than simply recreating the original studio versions.

More Than a Concert Recording

The expanded instrumentation gives Gold’s vocals and songwriting a different emotional weight, making the project feel like a complete live experience rather than a straightforward collection of concert recordings.

Fuji Orchestra ultimately extends the creative world Gold explored during his Fuji era, while preserving a significant chapter from his London run and showing how naturally his sound translates to a full orchestral stage.
