Wizkid Beats Fela’s Record On Billboard Chart, Now World Highest Afrobeat Artist

According to Billboard, the singer’s MIL album broke the mark set by Fela Kuti. Wizkid’s Black President album spent 46 weeks on the US World Billboard Album Charts, breaking Fela Anikulapo-45-week Kuti’s record.

Wizkid’s album, Made In Lagos, will be published in October 2020, whereas Fela Kuti’s record will be released in 1999.
Wizkid’s feat comes only hours after his MIL Deluxe album reclaimed the top spot on Apple Music Nigeria.
