Mohbad, a fast-rising Nigerian artist, was reportedly arrested and detained by law enforcement officers at an airport in the Republic of Cyprus.
Mohbad, who revealed this to his fans on Saturday via Instagram Stories, said he is currently being kept in an airport prison.
According to the “Feel Good” singer, who is currently signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Music label, his detention in Cyprus is due to the organizers of a performance at which he performed being played dirty.
On his Instagram Stories, Mohbad wrote:
“I’ve been imprisoned at the Cyprus airport prison for a long time.”
“The show promoter screwed me up.”
