Tems received two Grammy Award nominations for a feature on Wizkid’s mega hit “Essence” on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in the categories of “Best Global Music Performance” and “Best Global Music Album.”
Tems is one of Africa’s fastest-rising performers, with the song “Essence,” starring her, becoming the first Nigerian record to spend a year on the Billboard World Album rankings, and multiple nods from BET, MTV, The Headies, and alongside a Drake feature.
Tems, a Grammy-nominated artist, will perform the first concert in Nigeria.
Tems will build on the enormous success and quality of Livespot360 platforms like Love Like A Movie and Livespot X Festival, which have featured the likes of Kim Kardashian, Ciara, Cardi B, and others, as she has promised that her music lovers and fans will be treated to her best performance yet at the concert dubbed “A Place Called Orange,” which will take place at the Livespot Entertainment Center, Ikate, Lekki. “LAGOS, all I can say is it will be special,” she says.
