The fast-rising singer and songwriter, Goriola Sanni professionally known as Lil Frosh has decamped from Aloma Music Worldwide, AMW, to Davido Music Worldwide, DMW.
Lil Frosh, also known as ‘Eru Iku Makanaki‘ is a Nigerian, Lagos-based afro-hip hop rapper and songwriter largely known for his Instagram freestyle rap skits with Zinoleesky, a close friend and music partner. His rap is style is indigenous and heavily laced with the Yoruba language and is known to be the originator of the slangs ‘Sonto Polio‘ and ‘Firi Yahoo‘. He is currently signed to DMW, a record label owned by Davido.
Lil Frosh might be a newbie in the Nigerian music industry but his strength, bars, and lyrics sure packs a punch. He is known for his use of street slangs in his freestyle sessions on Instagram where he started, which was also what puts him on the limelight. He is regarded as one of the fastest rising artistes in Nigeria.
It might have started as a joke for Lil Frosh but it wasn’t all too long before grace found him. From an Instagram freestyle skit maker to becoming a trending celebrity, the story of Lil is indeed encouraging and worth preaching.
In an official statement on his Instagram page on September 24, 2020, he informed the public that his contract with AMW has been terminated officially due to irreconcilable differences.
He also stated he is now only signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW).
Lil Frosh was signed to Aloma Music Worldwide, which is a sub-label of Davido Music Worldwide, on the 25th of October, 2019 and while with AMW Lil Frosh has released records such as Kole Re Body
