Salle’s journey from rags to riches has caught the interest of many Nigerians and the media. Vanguard recently interviewed Salle, whose true name is Kosisochukwu Gospel Peters.
She discussed her musical career extensively in the interview. The 17-year-old singer also revealed some personal details about herself.
Salle said during the interview that she used music to cope with the depression and difficulties she was through at the time. Salle claims that it was only when she became serious about music that she realized she have songwriting ability. Salle, on the other hand, admitted that she is still working on her self-assurance.
The 17-year-old confessed that singing has always been a love of hers since she was a small child. As a result, when she was ten years old, she formed her own girls’ singing group. She also revealed that she began creating songs for some of the competitions in which she and her other members of the group were participating.
The young afro-fusion performer creates music that is conscious and has deep words for the soul, as she stated.
At the end of the day, my primary goal is to compose good music that will live on in people’s hearts forever.
“I’m working on a number of wonderful projects, and so far everything is going well, so I can guarantee the world good music. The goal, whether it’s a single or an EP, is to satisfy your soul.”
